January Snowstorms

Just as we were slipping into a serious case of "The January's", the world's Most Depressing Month saved us with a snow day.  

Actually it's been a snow WEEK, with Monday off (MLK), 2 hour delays, and a snow day today.  Despite that, it's still been a  horrifically slow week and we are seriously T-G-I-F-ing.

While #1 and I braved the elements, #2 kept it fat and happy in the warmth of the indoors.

[Some]...believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check...

 

 but that is not what I have found... 

 I've found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay… small acts of kindness, and love.
